Understanding Your Needs

Your business is unique, so regardless of the stage that you are at on your journey, evolving and reactive or established and stable, we have the experience and intuition to understand and breakdown complex vacancy descriptions, interpret a business's people needs, the goals of the leadership team and how this then translates to the current candidate market. 

Market Engagement

The applicant response through advertising on job boards and LinkedIn does not represent the full spectrum of potential candidates in the current market. Whilst attracting those who are actively looking, passive advertising does not engage with the small number of dormant high-calibre candidates who have not considered a move at this time. We have found that by supplementing shortlists with these hard to find candidates, it greatly increases the quality and in 8 out of 10 cases, results in the dormant candidate securing the position.  

Converting Dormant Candidates

Initially focusing our search on the key vacancy criteria, we use one of many engagement techniques to start honest and open conversations with those dormant candidates, exploring their current situation, responsibilities, skills, whilst also gaining a better understanding of their future needs and career goals. We then focus on converting those candidates whose expectations and goals best align with the vacancy into active applicants, which can ultimately lead to their participation in the interview processes and broaden the range of talent available to you.

The Briefing

As no organisation is the same, we approach each vacancy as a blank page and without any preconceptions or assumptions. We listen and keep on listening, then by only asking the right questions can we start to fill in the blanks to increase our understanding of the vacancy, its position within the organisation and what the successful profile will look like.

 

The Shortlist

We are equipped to deploy a range of recruitment and search techniques to attract a diverse range of candidates, whilst also finding, mapping and engaging with both active applicants and dormant talent, tailoring our approach to each client’s needs.

 
 

CV’s & Profiles

We approach applicant CV’s and their profiles in the same way as we do a client vacancy briefing, as no candidate is the same and their skills cannot be used as a measure of suitability for a position. We do not see candidates as 2-dimensional, but rather a 3D jigsaw made up of a combination of skills, experiences, achievements, attributes, personality traits and characteristics.

 
 
 

The Interview

Interviews are the most critical stage in the hiring process. Whilst an honest mistake or incorrect answer may result in a candidate being removed from the shortlist, an employer’s lack of clarity on the vacancy or poor interview style may also result in the candidate withdrawing from the process. As your Talent Partner, we will reduce the chance of this happening by providing any support or advice that the employer may require and by taking each candidate through a thorough interview preparation call, accompanied by a vacancy and company briefing email to aid with their background research.
